In 2018  Joe Siple's novel, The Five Wishes of Mr. Murray McBride, published by Black Rose Writing, received  a PenCraft Book Award for 1st Place in the "Fiction-Drama" category.  Around the same time his book was named Book of the Year" by the Maxy Awards. It had only 56 Amazon reviews back then but our judges thought it was a great novel and they were correct. It now has more than 6,521 Amazon reviews and  has continued to win numerous other awards.

PenCraft Book Award Competition submissions are usually of the highest quality and Linnea Tanner's fantastic book, "Amulet's Rapture," certainly proves that point. Tanner has won two 1st Place PenCraft Book Awards for her contribution to the Fantasy Genre. She weaves Celtic tales of love, magical adventure, and political intrigue into the backdrop of Ancient Rome and Britannia. Since childhood, she has passionately read about ancient civilizations and mythology which held women in higher esteem. Tanner has extensively researched and traveled to sites described within her books.

Sweet Jane by Joanne Kukanza Easley

Joanne Kukanza Easley’s multi-award-winning debut novel, Sweet Jane, was released in March 2020. The novel was a PenCraft Book Award Winner and also a winner of adult fiction in the 2020 Texas Author project. A retired registered nurse with experience in both the cold, clinical operating room, and the emotionally fraught world of psychiatric hospitals, she lives and writes on a small ranch in the Texas Hill Country.
